| Unrivalled
throughput
No combine harvester matches the capacity of the
New Holland CR models. The amounts of crop processed
by the CR combines are just huge. The pure rotary
breed accepts no compromises. Complete threshing
and separation are achieved by two rotors running
in opposite directions and two huge concaves.
The gentle multipass action of the pure rotor
technology produces a superior grain and straw
quality in unmatched capacities.
Getting even more out of the new
models
Maximising the CR’s enormous potential is
made possible thanks to the innovative features
of the new models. Modern, high horsepower engines,
with advanced technology, have high fuel efficiency
and offer sustained power supply. They play an
important role in further optimising the potential
of the new CR models. The lay-out of the operator’s
working place, the largest cab on any combine,
is based on extensive research and user feedback
and meets all the requirements of the professional
operator of New Holland’s flagship rotary
combine. Increasing operator efficiency and improving
their contribution to all aspects of the harvesting
operation, the IntelliView™ ll monitor with
its wide colour screen and rotary encoder navigation
provides all relevant information and optimises
operator interaction in a very direct way. Automatic
guidance systems that take over the steering function
increase the operator’s alertness and allow
more concentration on the harvesting functions
for an even higher quality job and increased daily
output.
Two models, offering a matchless
performance
Both the CR9080 and the CR9060 are pure rotary
breed. The complete threshing and separation is
handled by the unique Twin Rotor™ concept.
The longitudinal rotors have a length of 2.64m.
On the CR9080 they have a diameter of 0.56m and
on the CR9060 they have a diameter of 0.43m. Modern
Iveco Cursor engines, with direct unitized injection
on the CR9080 and common rail injection on the
CR9060 provide outputs of 317kW [431hp(CV)] and
260kW [354hp(CV)], at 2100rpm rated speed. Maximum
power is reached at 2000rpm for both models and
is as high as 337kW [458hp(CV)] on the CR9080
and 290kW [394hp(CV)] on the CR9060. High levels
of grain handling efficiency are virtually guaranteed
by grain tanks with capacities of 10500 and 9000
litres.

Continuous
success
New Holland CX combine harvesters have planted
a land-mark in the history of harvesting systems.
Their innovative technology tackles the challenges
of changing farming practises and answers the
calls for increased productivity. Their modern
look underlines the progressive ideas behind
their concept, design and development. Based
on incomparable experience and on the sound
analysis of what a combine owner really expects,
CX combines have been specified, designed, built
and operated with great success ever since their
introduction in 2001. Packed with a series of
new features, CX combine harvesters are ready
for even greater success.
Innovative features optimise the
huge potential
Building on the proven New Holland CX concept,
the range now shows characteristics that further
optimise the potential of their advanced harvesting
systems. High horse-power engines with modern
injection technology, meet Tier III emission
standards. "Agressive power-rise”
characteristics ensure a sustained power supply
even when working in the most demanding conditions.
In the most spacious cab on the market, the
CX operator is in full control of the harvesting
process, thanks to the new IntelliView™
II monitor with its wide colour screen and rotary
encoder navigation. Innovative automatic guidance
devises, such as the SmartSteer™ and IntelliSteer™
systems, further maximise field precision for
added daily output. This is of added importance
when cutting with the wide Varifeed™ or
Extra Capacity headers that cope perfectly with
heavy or long straw crops.
A well balanced range
The CX combine range – New Holland’s
flagship conventional combines – are available
in five and six- strawwalker versions. The engines
of the new CX models have the highest horsepower
ratings of any conventional combine range. Their
rated engine power ranges from 177kW [241hp(CV)]
to 298kW [405hp(CV)]. Innovative engine design
offers aggressive power rise characteristics,
which on the largest model provide maximum power
of up to 335kW [455hp(CV)]. For high levels
of grain handling efficiency, grain tank capacity
ranges from 7600 litres to 10500 litres.

| Innovative,
modern, dynamic
The new CSX combines designed and built by New
Holland, the harvesting specialist, confirm the
brand’s approach to supplying combine harvesters
to suit the requirements of all farmers and contractors.
Arguably, New Holland has introduced a greater
number of combine innovations than any other brand
and the CSX combines are the latest example of
this proven leadership. Advanced technology and
innovative ideas combined with vast experience
and know-how are bound to create another success
story.
HarveStar™ technology. Built
to work hard
Large scale farmers and contractors looking for
a high capacity combine harvester will appreciate
the strengths of the CSX models. Four-drum threshing
and separation technology includes the Straw Flow™
beater that maintains throughput all day long.
The standard Smart Sieve™ self levelling
cleaning system matches cleaning capacity to the
huge throughput and maintains full efficiency
on slopes. The Discovery Plus cab with standard
IntelliView II™ monitor supports the professional
operator while the cab’s comfort and convenience
help maintain alertness during the long high-productive
days. In line with the current cultivation practice
in large farming operations the CSX handles the
residue in a professional way. The modern, powerful
engines and the combine’s robust construction
make the CSX a top performer in demanding conditions
such as maize.
CSX range, specified to perform
The CSX7060 is five-strawwalker unit with headers
up to 7.32m (24ft) and the CSX7080 is a six-strawwalker
unit with headers up to 9.15m (30ft). In addition
to High Capacity grain headers both models can
be specified with Varifeed™ headers, which
feature a knife position adjustment of 500mm and
Extra-Capacity headers with an advanced knife
position of 150mm. On the CSX7080 the grain tank
holds 9000 litres and on the CSX7060 it holds
7500 litres. The new Iveco Cursor 9 engines with
common rail injection produce 200kW [272hp(CV)]
on the CSX7060 and 220kW [299hp(CV)] on the CSX7080.
